Hilarious, Josie Gibson’s Reaction to a “Hideous” Christmas Gift
This Morning host Josie Gibson, 39, recently shared a hilarious story about the worst Christmas present she ever received. She revealed that her friend, Rachel, once gave her an “ugly” ornamental cat as a gift.

The gift was so terrible that Josie kept it for an entire year before wrapping it back up and re-gifting it to Rachel! “It’s actually one of the best presents I’ve ever had because we just keep passing it back and forth,” she joked. “It’s absolutely hilarious!”
Hosting a Big Christmas Party
This year, Josie is hosting a big Christmas party for family and friends. Instead of a formal sit-down meal, she’s setting up a buffet so everyone can help themselves, making the gathering more relaxed and stress-free. Josie shared, “I’ve opened my doors to anyone who has nowhere else to go—it’s all about the Christmas spirit.” She added, “We’re going to have music, a lively party atmosphere, and plenty of food for everyone to enjoy.”

She is particularly delighted that her little brother’s new-born is going to celebrate with them.
Her Busy Schedule
Josie has been busy with several TV projects, including the Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide. She’s also working on two new shows for Channel 5: First Class Travel and an investigative food series exploring culinary trends from the 1970s.
Giving Back to the Community
Josie also teamed up with First Bus for their Moving the Everyday campaign, which highlights how buses help connect communities. As part of the campaign, she visited her hometown of Yate, Bristol, to meet inspiring locals who are making a difference—whether by delivering food hampers or organizing activities for refugees.

Josie called it “the most wholesome day” ever, saying, “Buses are the lifeblood of the community. They connect people and help build friendships.”
Her story proves that even a small gesture, like sharing an unwanted gift, can spread joy and bring people together during the holidays.
